UCPD TSUNAMI UPDATE - UCPD immediately began monitoring the tsunami warning and coordinating with emergency management agencies to ensure community safety.  While preparing to issue public messaging, we were informed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration that the tsunami warning has been canceled.  Evacuations are not being recommended at this time.

We will continue to actively monitor the situation and provide timely updates should any further developments arise,
