Cold weather shelter to open Friday, December 6, for those in need 
Due to forecasted below freezing temperatures, Sea Island Presbyterian Church, located at 81 Lady’s Island Drive, Beaufort, will open at 5 p.m. on Friday. This shelter will close at 8 a.m. Saturday morning.
Dinner and breakfast will be provided. Showers will also be available.
Sea Island Presbyterian Church advises no weapons, alcohol, smoking, or pets are permitted; however, service animals will be allowed.
