Below is a communication from the Burlington County Engineering Office dated December 6^th, 2024
 
Subject: Bridge Closure – D4.28 on Mill St (CR 616) between Red Lion Road and N Main St (CR 681) in Southampton Township
Notification For Local Community
 
To whom it may concern,
 
I am contacting you this afternoon in regards to Burlington County Bridge D4.28. The Bridge is located in Southampton Township on Mill Street (CR 616) between Red Lion Road and N Main St (CR 681);
 
The County is closing Bridge D4.28 on Friday December 6, 2024 – Mill St will be closed for approximately 3 weeks barring any unforeseen circumstances. The closure is between Red Lion Road and N Main St (CR 681) to all thru traffic to make the necessary emergency repairs to the bridge. Local traffic will be able to enter the closure area to access their properties but will not be able to cross the bridge. The County will notify the 911 Dispatch Center.
 
A detour is being posted using signs placed near the bridge, and a location map with the detour route highlighted in yellow is attached for your convenience. A secondary truck detour will also be poste with signs.
