A weather system moving into the region will bring a wintry mix of freezing rain, sleet, rain and snow.
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total ice accumulations around one tenth of an inch and snow accumulations up to 6 inches above 3500 feet. Localized ice accumulations of a quarter of an inch is possible, especially in Pend Oreille county.
* WHERE...Flowery Trail Road, Kettle Falls, Springdale-Hunters Road, Athol, Priest River, Orin-Rice Road, Metaline, Bonners Ferry, Newport, Tiger, Ione, Eastport, Schweitzer Mountain Road, Chewelah, Clark Fork, Northport, Deer Park, Sandpoint, Fruitland, Colville, and Metaline Falls.
* WHEN...From 4 AM to 10 PM PST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional light snow is expected in the mountains through Sunday morning.
