Newark Public Safety Director Emmanuel Miranda Sr. requests the public help identifying the suspect pictured below, who stole several clothing items from a store on November 16, 2024.
The shoplifting incident occurred at approximately 1 p.m. at Snipes, a footwear and apparel store in the 200 block of Springfield Avenue. On surveillance video, the male suspect walked into the store wearing a black ski and appeared to be shopping until he grabbed the clothes and fled. He got into a white Volkswagen Atlas bearing a temporary New Jersey registration (C647274) that drove away in an unknown direction. The suspect, who was wearing a grey hoodie and blue jeans, stole sweatpants, a hoodie, jeans and T-shirts
