Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
TONIGHT – Rain or Shine!

Please join Mayor Kahwaty and Council Members as we light our Annual Christmas Tree on Monday, December 9, at 6:00 PM at Veterans Plaza (next to the Gazebo). The event is sponsored by the Borough of Franklin Lakes, the Franklin Lakes Library and the Franklin Lakes Mayors Wellness Campaign.
Welcome our "special visitors" from the North Pole, Franklin Avenue Middle School Choir will sing, Village Carolers will sing Christmas Carols. Following the tree lighting, all are invited to continue the festivities, sit next to Mr. and Mrs. Claus in the gazebo and tell Santa what you’d like for Christmas and take your picture. Goodie bags and refreshments will be served. Rain or shine. Event flyer. Veterans Plaza is at the corner of Franklin Ave and Bender Court.
The Franklin Lakes Girl Scouts have partnered with the Mayors Wellness Campaign to hold a Toys for Tots Drive during the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony, please consider bringing a new, unwrapped toy!
Save-the-Date - Operation Toy Train is stopping in Franklin Lakes on December 14 to collect all toys donated through Franklin Lakes Living Healthy and the Girl Scouts.
