Newark Public Safety Director Emmanuel Miranda, Sr. requests the public’s help in locating El Amin Muhammad, 40, of Newark who is wanted for questioning about a shooting that occurred on November 21, 2024.
At approximately 10:01 p.m. the shot spotter detection system picked up gunfire in the 300 block of Chancellor Avenue. Police officers responded and located seven shell casings.
Muhammad, a Black male, is 5’11,” weighs 190 pounds, and has a bald head.
