The Amarillo Emergency Communications Center (AECC) is currently experiencing issues with the non-emergency phone lines. They are aware of the problem and actively working to resolve it.

📞 If you have a NON-EMERGENCY issue that requires a police officer:

• Please be patient if you cannot get through and try calling again later.
• You can also make an online report if your situation meets the criteria at https://www.amarillopolice.org/online-reporting.

❗ Please DO NOT call 911 for non-emergency matters. This can delay help for those with urgent, life-threatening emergencies. Instead, wait and call the non-emergency line again later or use the online reporting option.

🚨 If you need the police and it IS AN EMERGENCY, call 911.
The 911 lines are fully operational and have not been affected.
