On Thursday, 12/12/24, the Town of Perryville will begin replacement of the 6” water main on Harford St. 
On Thursday, 12/12/24, the Town of Perryville will begin replacement of the 6” water main on Harford Street. This will be a complete replacement of the water main due to age and the existing condition of the pipe. A new water main of C900 water line will be installed along side of the existing water line. Once installed, the new section will be tested and disinfected. Then all current water services will be installed into the new section.
During construction there will be limited parking. However, there may also be times when the roadway is closed completely. When this occurs, the Town will make its best effort to notify residents in advance. No work will be performed on weekends. The process of complete replacement and service line restoration will take approximately 6 weeks.
After the completion of the water main replacement, Harford Street will have the pavement restored completely. Separate notices will be posted before paving is scheduled to begin.
