Newark Public Safety Director Emmanuel Miranda, Sr. requests the public’s help identifying the suspect pictured below, who shoplifted six wigs from a store on December 6, 2024.
At approximately 4:28 p.m., the female suspect entered Tommy’s Wigs in the 90 block of Market Street. Once inside, she took the wigs and left after exchanging words with the manager, who recognized her from a previous incident.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are confidential and could result in a reward.
