A county wide test of the emergency notification system, Placer Alert will be held on Thursday, December 12th at 12:00 p.m. This test is part of an ongoing effort to ensure that residents of Placer County are prepared to receive critical information in the event of an emergency (i.e. evacuation orders, warnings, shelter-in-place).
