Public's help sought locating 17-year-old Vernon Pope Jr., a reported runaway from Saint Helena Island 
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office asks for the public’s help locating 17-year-old Vernon Tramayne Pope Jr. of Saint Helena Island.
Family members reported Pope missing around 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, stating he’d left the home sometime in the middle of the night.
Pope could be in the greater Ridgeland area.
He’s described as 6’, weighing 150 lbs.
