Please be advised of the following Borough of Leonia closures through New Year's Day:
BOROUGH HALL -- Borough Hall will be closed the week of December 23 and shall re-open on Monday December 30. Closed January 1. The following departments will be closed: Clerk's Office, Administration, Building Department, Tax & Finance Office, Board of Health. Inspections WILL continue during this time as long as they are scheduled by Friday 12/20 noon.
MUNICIPAL BUILDING & POLICE DEPARTMENT – Open.
VIOLATIONS BUREAU -- Closed the week of December 23 and shall re-open on Monday December 30. Closed January 1. Payments can be made online at www.njmcdirect.com Court ID- 0229.
DPW -- Closed December 25 & January 1. Holiday collection schedule:
- December 23 - Mixed Paper
- December 30 - Trash Pickup Entire Town
- January 2 - Co-mingled Containers. Christmas Tree collection curbside begins.
- Normal Schedule for garbage collection
RECREATION CENTER -- Open for classes the week of December 23, though the offices will be closed. Closed December 25 and January 1.
SENIOR CENTER – Closed the week of December 23 and on January 1. No classes. No Senior Bus.
LIBRARY – Generally open the week of December 23 with the following exceptions: Closing 1pm on December 24, closed December 25, closed January 1.
