On December 10, 2024, Palmdale Sheriff’s Station deputies and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Organized Retail Crime Task Force (ORCTF) partnered with @cityofpalmdalegov on an undercover retail theft operation on Palmdale Boulevard (Vallarta Supermarket, WSS, Superior Grocers, Harbor Freight).

The operation resulted in four (4) felony arrests and one (1) misdemeanor arrest. During the operation, a vehicle believed to be ‘casing’ the WSS shoe store at 1703 East Palmdale Boulevard was contacted and detained for suspicious activity.

After further investigation, Palmdale Deputies discovered two of the occupants in the vehicle were wanted for a robbery they were involved in at a WSS shoe store in LAPD’s area (North Hollywood). The two suspects were detained and transferred into LAPD’s custody. These undercover operations will continue through out the holidays at local retail stores to prevent and deter theft this holiday season.
