Narrative:

On 12/01/2024, Camarillo Patrol Deputies responded to a call for service in the 5100 block of Mesquite Street, City of Camarillo, in reference to a burglary.  The victim reported their garage had been broken into overnight and had electric bikes, numerous tools, and a generator stolen.  It was later determined through residential surveillance footage, the suspect(s) was driving a dark colored Nissan Xterra with one of the victim’s stolen electric bikes on the roof rack.
On 12/10/2024, Detectives from the Camarillo Investigations Bureau located the Nissan Xterra in the 16000 block of Devonshire Street in the city of Granada Hills.  Detectives conducted a surveillance operation and observed (S1) Jesus Leyva sitting in the driver seat of the Nissan Xterra.  Leyva was accompanied by passenger (S2) Luis Alfaro.  Leyva and Alfaro were observed associated to a travel trailer parked behind the Nissan Xterra.  The trailer was determined to be stolen out of the city of Simi Valley.  Detectives observed Leyva, Alfaro and (S3) Marco Henriquez going in and out of the stolen trailer and removing additional potential stolen items.
Detectives later observed Leyva riding away from the travel trailer on a stolen bike from one of the residential burglaries.  Detectives apprehended Leyva nearby and ultimately placed him under arrest.
Detectives then contacted Alfaro and Henriquez as they exited the travel trailer and placed them under arrest. During a search of the stolen travel trailer, detectives located additional stolen property belonging to the victims in the city of Camarillo, Simi Valley, and Chatsworth.  Detectives connected the stolen property to all three suspects.  With the assistance of the Ventura County Auto Theft Task Force, detectives determined an additional stolen utility trailer was located in the area associated to all three suspects.  The second stolen trailer was also determined to be stolen out of Simi Valley.
Detectives believed all three suspects conspired and committed various residential burglaries in neighboring Southern California cities.  Jesus Leyva ultimately arrested for California Penal Code 459- Burglary, Vehicle Code 10851(a)- Stolen Vehicle, PC496(d)- Receiving a Stolen Vehicle, and PC 182(a)(1)- Conspiracy. Additionally, Luis Alfaro and Marco Henriquez were arrested for California Vehicle Code VC 10851(a)- Stolen Vehicle, Penal Code 496(d)- Receiving a Stolen Vehicle, and Penal Code 182(a)(1)- Conspiracy.  Henriquez was determined to be a wanted parolee and considered armed and dangerous. All suspects remain in custody at the Ventura County Main Jail.  Leyva and Alfaro’s bail amount was set at $250,000 and Henriquez’ bail amount was set at $400,000.
