Sheriff’s Office investigating shootings from last night in St. Helena that left one injured. 
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two shootings that occurred last night, Thursday, December 12, 2024, in the Lands End Road and Scott Hill Road areas of St. Helena.
At about 7:27 p.m., The Beaufort County Communications Center received a call reporting a possible gunshot wound. Deputies responded to the area of Peaches Hill Circle and found one victim, inside his vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. Deputies later learned the incident occurred in the area of Lands End Road and Scott Hill Road.
While deputies were on scene at this incident, they heard gun fire coming from the area of Scott Hill Road. Deputies did observe a residence that was shot several times, but no injured individuals have been located at this time.
The circumstances leading up to these shootings are under investigation. Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to contact Sgt.
