Watch Commander's Night Report - December 12, 2024



CAD CALLS: 802

1. Pursuit Arrest (1619) El Dorado Street / Morada Lane, Bear Creek District
Officers attempted a traffic stop near the call location. The driver failed to yield, leading officers to a short pursuit. The driver collided with another vehicle, and force was required to take the suspect into custody.ARRESTED: Jayden Cabrera, 19, for reckless driving, evading, and resisting arrest.

2. Robbery (1824) 2400 block of East Main Street, Park DistrictThe male victim, 24, was working at an area business and stopped the suspect, who was attempting to steal merchandise. The suspect assaulted the victim and fled. SUSPECT: Hispanic or White male 17-20.

3. Robbery (2025) 4500 block of Pacific Avenue, Lakeview District The female victim, 19, was working at an area business when she was approached by the suspect, who brandished a firearm at the victim and demanded property. The victim complied, and the suspect fled on foot.SUSPECT: Light-skinned male adult.

4. Weapon Arrest (2249) 00 Block of West Main Street, Civic District Officers responded to the area on a report of a restraining order violation in progress that involved a firearm. Officers located the suspect, who fled from them on foot. Officers apprehended the suspect a short distance away. The suspect was in possession of a loaded firearm. ARRESTED: Lalo Moreno, 25, for weapon charges and violating a restraining order.

5. Shooting into a Vehicle (2300) 1200 Block of Occidental Avenue, Civic DistrictThe female victim, 43, discovered her vehicle was struck by gunfire when she arrived home. There were no reported injuries. There is no suspect information.

6. Person Shot (0040) 1900 Block of South American Street, Seaport District
The 17-year-old male victim was inside a residence in the listed area when he was struck by gunfire. The victim was transported to a local hospital for a non-life-threatening graze wound injury. A 36-year-old female, a 17-year-old male, and a 13-year-old female were also inside the residence but were uninjured. The suspect fled the area in a vehicle. There is no further suspect information.
