The Township of Cranford is continuing their pedestrian improvements in the area of Lambert Street. Construction will begin on Monday 12/16/2024 and the project should be completed on or about Monday 12/23/2024 weather permitting. Construction will incud the installation of the new sidewalks near the soccer field north of the ball fields. The parking spaces in this area will be blocked and unavailable during construction.
Construction in the intersection of Orange Avenue at Birch Street for the ADA pedestrian ramps is complete. The installation of the pathway on Birch Street will begin Tuesday 12/17/2024, and tentatively finish Friday 12/20/2024 weather permitting.
During these times there may be a delay in traffic. Officers will be assigned to help both the motoring public and pedestrians that utilize these areas. Please allow yourself additional travel time or plan an alternate route.
