Fog will be dense at times across the mountains of northwest North Carolina, north along and either side of the Blue Ridge in Virginia, and across the Alleghanys of West Virginia and Virginia. Visibilities will be down to a quarter mile or less. With wet roadways, travel will be hazardous. While traveling this evening, be alert, slow down and use your low beam headlights.
