The Green Bay Police Department (GBPD) has sworn in five new patrol officers and has promoted three current officer to new ranks with approval from the Police and Fire Commission.
On Monday, December 16, 2024, a swearing-in and promotional ceremony was held by the GBPD, bringing the department to 180 sworn staff.
“Today, we have five new officers joining a highly respected, effective, and professional agency. We also have three current officers who are dedicated to leading us into the future. Please join me in congratulating all eight individuals,” said Chief Chris Davis, Green Bay Police Department.

- Patrol Officer Tyrel Barney
- Patrol Officer Bradley Glisczinski
- Patrol Officer Dylan Hill
- Patrol Officer Joseph Lannoye
- Patrol Officer Macie Heisel
Promoted Officers:
- Lieutenant Solomon Ayres
- 15 Years of Service – Green Bay Police Department
- Detective Sheila Carlson
- 7 Years of Service – Green Bay Police Department
- Detective Matt Woods
- 7 Years of Service – Green Bay Police Department
