12/16/2024 (1:15 pm): The Madison Water Utility found the source of water getting into the distribution system and has fixed the problem. It may take another day or two for the water to become fully clear. The cloudy water was widespread in the area, including Shorewood Hills.
(9:15 am): The Village Hall has received a number of reports of cloudy tap water over the weekend. The Public Works Department and the Madison Water Utility are investigating it for a possible water main break within or outside Shorewood Hills. The water has been tested and is safe to drink. When we know more, we will post another update.
