...NEXT ROUND OF SNOW FOR THE SOUTHERN PANHANDLE... .Low pressure will track east northeast through Dixon Entrance Tuesday night through Wednesday bringing a period of snow to the far southern panhandle. Freezing levels will rise through Wednesday evening, causing a change over to rain as the system moves out. Periods of freezing rain are possible at the onset of precipitation and again before the transition to all rain.
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 7 inches.
* WHERE...Eastern Prince of Wales Island, Ketchikan Gateway Borough and Annette Island.
* WHEN...From 6 PM Tuesday to 6 PM AKST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday commute.
