LOCATION: Amargosa Road/ I-15, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Paul Anthony Ortiz, 52-year-old Transient of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Sunday, December 15, 2024, at approximately 12:26 a.m., Deputy C. Stanley conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Amargosa Road and I-15 on ramp, on a 2012 Chevrolet Impala, for California Vehicle Code violation(s). During the vehicle stop, drug paraphernalia was located inside the vehicle next to the driver, Paul Anthony Ortiz. Deputy Stanley conducted field sobriety tests on Ortiz.
Paul Anthony Ortiz was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, for V.C 23152(C)- Driving While Addicted to Drugs, V.C. 23152(F)- Driving Under the Influence of Drugs,and H&S 11364(A)- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
