Child Pornography Arrest 
Today at 6:00 a.m. the Janesville Police Department S.W.A.T. team executed a search warrant in the 1400 block of Canyon Drive after a year-long investigation conducted by the Detective Bureau.
Upon arrival, officers discovered concerning living conditions that posed a significant health and safety risk to any potential occupants. The key issues included an accumulation of debris and waste that created unsanitary living conditions inside the residence. The police department is collaborating with the City of Janesville Housing Services to address these conditions and violations.
As a result of the search warrant, numerous electronics were collected from the residence. Suspect, Robert Sharpe III, was arrested for two counts of Possession of Child Pornography and was later transported to the Rock County Jail pending his initial court appearance. The investigation is currently ongoing.
