The Clayton County Sheriff's Office & Lovejoy Police Department is actively conducting a manhunt in the area of Chatham Drive and Dougherty Place (Chatham Townhomes).
This is in reference to an Aggravated Assault Suspect who is considered armed and dangerous.
Chief Webster of Lovejoy Police and Sheriff Levon Allen are both on scene.
SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN urges all residents to:
Avoid the area until further notice and Report any suspicious activity immediately to 911.
If you see the suspect, do not approach; call the authorities right away.
Your safety is our priority. Updates will be provided as the situation develops.
