Beginning at 7AM Friday (12/20), Grant Ave will be closed between 8th Street & Virginia Avenue for street paving. See attached map. The temporary road closure is expected to conclude at 5PM.

• Road Closure Location: Grant Ave between 8^th St. and Virginia Ave. (See Map)
• ​Closure Time: 7AM – 5PM

Please use alternative routes, when necessary, as there may be an increase in traffic congestions on detoured routes. We request those who cannot avoid the area to allow plenty of time for travel. This work is part of the final phase of the Grant Avenue Bridge Rehabilitation Project, which began construction in April 2024 and is anticipated to be completed in January 2025. The community’s patience and understanding are greatly appreciated as crews work to complete this project.
