On December 15, 2024, deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's South Los Angeles Station responded to a report of a robbery in progress at a 7-Eleven located in the 11200 block of Normandie Avenue, in unincorporated Los Angeles.
During the investigation, deputies identified several suspects who fled into a nearby residence. A search warrant was executed at the location, resulting in the arrest of the suspects, the recovery of stolen merchandise, and the seizure of a firearm. In total, five suspects have been taken into custody and are currently awaiting robbery charges.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Captain Nicole Palomino stated "I am extremely proud of the swift and decisive actions taken by our deputies and detectives to make these arrests and remove another firearm off the streets. We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of our community."
