Winter Weather Advisory until 06:00AM Friday

...WIDESPREAD ACCUMULATING SNOW THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING... .Widespread light to moderate snow will continue region-wide through early Friday morning. Expected snow totals have decreased for most areas. A swath of 3 to 6 inches is expected from central to northeast Wisconsin. Locally higher amounts of 5 to 10 inches are forecast near Lake Michigan where lake enhancement is expected into this evening. Even though snow totals are lower than expected over much of the area, many accidents are occurring due to snow covered and slippery roads.

* WHAT...Light to moderate snow. Additional snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches.

* WHERE...Menominee, Northern Marinette County, Northern Oconto County, Outagamie, Shawano, Southern Marinette County, Southern Oconto County, and Waupaca Counties.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM CST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on snow covered and slippery roads. Many accidents have already been reported. The hazardous conditions will impact the evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow will be near the bay where some lake enhancement may occur at times into the evening.
