Wilmington Police have arrested a Philadelphia man on drug charges following an investigation.
Beginning in November, members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division have been conducting an investigation into illegal drug sales in the 300 block of West 7th Street. On December 18, at approximately 9:02 a.m., police executed a search warrant in that block and took 48-year-old Jeffrey Rose of Philadelphia, PA, into custody without incident. Police recovered 4,555 grams of marijuana and THC products, and drug paraphernalia.
Rose has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Distribute in Tier 2 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 2 Quantity
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution pending further proceedings.
