Cass County Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that on December 20, 2024, at approximately 1237 hours, his Deputies responded to an Injury Crash, on Lawrence Rd, south of 96th St, Volinia Township, Cass County, Michigan.
The initial investigation showed that the vehicle driven by Donna Farmer (31 YO of Marcellus, MI) was traveling southbound on Lawrence Rd when she lost control. Farmer's vehicle then left the roadway, and overturned coming to a rest on its hood. Farmer was transported by SMCAS ambulance to Bronson Lakeview Hospital for in Paw Paw for injuries sustained in this crash.
Alcohol and/or drugs are not believed to be a factor in the crash.
Assisting agencies on scene were Michigan State Police, Wayne Township Fire Department, Dowagiac Fire Department, and SMCAS Ambulance Services.
The crash remains under investigation.
