1. Robbery Arrest (0516) 1300 Block of Quad Court, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 68, observed the suspect taking his property and confronted him. The suspect threatened
to harm the victim and walked away. Responding officers attempted to detain the suspect but he brandished a metal object at them. Officers were able to take the suspect into custody after a brief struggle. ARRESTED: Jeremey Tanner, 32, for robbery, brandishing, resisting arrest, and outstanding warrants.
2. Person Stabbed (1026) 3500 Block of Deseret Drive, Bear Creek District
The male victim, 39, and the known suspect got into an argument when the suspect stabbed him. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Officers took the suspect into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Denise Valazquez, 31, for assault with a deadly weapon.
3. Robbery (1128) 9400 Block of West Lane, Valley Oak District
The male victim was working at an area business when two suspects entered. One suspect pushed the victim and took merchandise before fleeing the store. SUSPECTS: Two Black males in their twenties.
