TIME: Approximately 2:49 a.m.
LOCATION: 300 Block of N 19th St, Montebello
SUSPECT: Male Adult
UNIT: Special Enforcement Bureau- Lieutenant David Auner
NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) personnel are responding to assist Montebello Police Department with a barricaded burglary suspect. The incident was reported on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at approximately 2:49 a.m., on the 300 Block of North 19th Street in the city of Montebello.
SEB personnel will assume tactical command. Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) and the Mental Evaluation Team (MET) will attempt to contact the suspect to bring this to a peaceful conclusion.
The surrounding homes are currently being evacuated for the safety of the residents.
