Newark Public Safety Emanuel Miranda, Sr. seeks the public’s help in locating Taijer Cosby, 34, who has been reported missing.
Cosby, who is reportedly non-violent, but experiencing a mental health crisis, was last seen on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, in the 600 block of South 12th Street in Newark. He is described as 6’2” tall with a slim build. He was wearing gray sweatpants and a white T-shirt under a beige thermal, faded black jean jacket. Cosby is known to frequent Newark, East Orange, Irvington, Paterson, Linden, and Roselle.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Taijer Cosby to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
