Deputies in Fontana Arrest Man with a Backpack Full of Burglary Tools at a Car Dealership

INCIDENT: Vehicle Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools
LOCATION: 18600 block of Valley Boulevard, Bloomington
SUSPECT(S): Adam Rosales, 32-year-old, resident of San Bernardino
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Friday, December 20, 2024, Deputy Torok from the Fontana Sheriff's Station responded to an alarm call at a car dealership located on the 18600 block of Valley Boulevard, in Bloomington. The alarm company advised dispatch there was an unknown subject wearing all black clothing walking around the lot looking at vehicles.
Torok arrived within minutes and methodically searched the lot looking for the subject. Torok observed a subject, later identified as Adam Rosales, inside a newer model Mustang tampering with the ignition. Torok placed Rosales in handcuffs without incident and transported him to the West Valley Detention Center, where he was booked for the above charges.
Rosales was carrying a backpack full of burglary tools used to break into vehicles. The owner of the business was contacted and advised of the incident. There were no other vehicles broken into or tampered with.
