LOCATION: 14400 Bear Valley Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Male Juvenile, 17-year-old Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Saturday, November 16, 2024, at approximately 5:19 p.m., a suspect, later identified as a 17-year-old male, entered Valliani Jewelers, inside the Mall of Victor Valley. The juvenile inquired about two necklaces, then fled toward the exit of Valliani Jewelers with the necklaces. The suspect fled into the parking lot of the Victor Valley Mall and left the location in a vehicle. The approximate value of the stolen jewelry is $52,000.
On Thursday, December 19, 2024, investigators from the Victorville Police Station's Detective Bureau and Gang Enforcement Team served a search warrant at the Victorville home of the suspect. The suspect was apprehended without incident.
The suspect was arrested and booked at High Desert Juvenile Detention and Assessment Center in Apple Valley, for P.C. 211- Robbery, and P.C. 487- Grand Theft.
