The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) reported that on December 16 a leak occurred in Branchburg at a repackaging facility into a tributary of the Raritan River. The facility repackages fragrances, essential oils and flavorings. NJ American Water continues to monitor water quality and laboratory testing indicates the water meets state and federal primary water drinking standards
