NOAA has issued a winter weather advisory effective now until noon Friday, December 27th.

URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON AKST FRIDAY...
* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow
  accumulations of up to 2 inches during the advisory period.
  Winds gusting as high as 35 to 45 mph. Visibility down to one-
  half mile at times.
* WHERE...Eastern Aleutians, primarily near and around Unalaska.
* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to noon AKST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing
  snow could significantly reduce visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...While snow showers and periods of   reduced visibility in heavier snow showers are possible over the
  course of the day Thursday, snow shower coverage will increase
  overnight and Friday. This combined with gusty northerly winds
  will lead to reduced visibilities down to a half mile at times.
A reminder that headlights are required when visibility is below 1,000 ft per Alaska Statute 13 AAC 04.010. Please allow for additional distance from vehicles in front. Also, allow for additional time for trips during wintery weather conditions.
