The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a Fire Weather Watch for gusty winds and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Monday morning through Monday evening.
* AFFECTED AREA...Sterling, Coke, Irion, Tom Green, Crockett, Schleicher and Sutton counties.
* TIMING...From Monday morning through Monday evening.
* WINDS...West to northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Falling to 10 to 15 percent.
* TEMPERATURES...Upper 70s to mid 80s.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Any outdoor activity that could produce flames or sparks is discouraged.
* AFFECTED AREAS: STERLING ... COKE ... IRION ... TOM GREEN ... CROCKETT ... SCHLEICHER ... SUTTON
