Ponding is likely to occur on roadways, and poor visibility will likely contribute to the adverse travel conditions as well. Rises in creeks and streams are also expected. Additionally, a period of strong north to northwest winds with gusts over 40 mph is likely from mid-morning through the afternoon. If commuting or traveling today, plan for slowed travel. The strong winds may also make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles on west to east roadways.
