December 27, 2024:

• Officer Elston responded to the 200 block of East Franklin Street for a domestic dispute. A 35-year-old male was arrested for violating a personal protection order.
• Officer Tenney made contact with a wanted subject in the 200 block of East Washington Avenue. A 55-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
• Sergeant Kruso conducted a traffic stop near East Michigan Avenue and North State Street. The 44-year-old female driver was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
• Officer Schram conducted a traffic stop at West High Street and South Jackson Street. The 44-year-old male driver was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
• Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Van Buren Street for a weapons complaint. A 13-year-old male was lodged at JCYC on an outstanding juvenile warrant.
• Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop near West Biddle Street and Greenwood Avenue. A 35-year-old male was arrested for resisting and obstructing, and driving with a suspended license.
• Officer Brooker responded to the 500 block of North Blackstone Street for a malicious destruction of property report.

• Officer Albrecht was dispatched to the 900 block of East Porter Street for a breaking and entering report.
• Officer Allison conducted a property security check in the 100 block of East Biddle Street.
• Officer Soloman responded to the 600 block of Alpine Lake Drive for a stolen vehicle report. The vehicle was entered into the national database as stolen.
• Officer Justice was dispatched to the 600 block of West Michigan Avenue for a domestic assault report. Domestic assault charges will be sought on a 64-year-old male.
• Officers responded to the 800 block of South Blackstone Street for a weapons complaint. The suspect fled prior to officers’ arrival, and has not been located. Felonious assault charges will be sought on a 32-year-old male.
• Officer Soloman responded to the 200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive for an assault report.  

• Officers were dispatched to an overdose in the 200 block of Steward Avenue. A 58-year-old female was transported to the hospital.
• Officers responded to the 100 block of West Morrell Street for shots fired. Casings were located in the area. A suspect has been identified.
• Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop near Cooper Road and I-94. The 30-year-old male driver received a citation for driving with a revoked license, and was arrested for conditional bond violation.
