Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. seeks the public’s help in locating Teresa Maki, 26, of West Palm Beach, Florida, who was reported missing on Friday, December 27, 2024.
Ms. Maki, who suffers from post-traumatic stress syndrome, arrived at Newark International Airport on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. She and her male companion were detained at the airport and Ms. Maki was subsequently transported to Newark Beth Israel Medical Center for evaluation. She fled the hospital and may be traveling to Brooklyn.
Ms. Maki is described as white, 4’11” tall, and weighs 100 pounds with blonde hair.
