I'm Newark Public Safety Director Emmanuel Miranda Sr. requests the public’s help in identifying the suspect pictured below, who defaced a building with a permanent marker on December 15, 2024.
At approximately 11 a.m., a Black female was captured on surveillance video using a permanent marker to write on a building in the 300 block of McCarter Highway. She wore glasses, blue pants, a black jacket, and black sneakers.
Director Miranda Sr. urges anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are confidential and could result in a reward.
