* WHAT...Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts of 40 to 45 mph expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...From 8 AM CST /9 AM EST/ this morning to 5 PM CST /6 PM EST/ this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. A few trees may be uprooted due to the wet ground, and tree limbs could be blown down as well. This may result in a few power outages.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The Wind Advisory includes all of southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, southern Illinois, and parts of southeast Missouri east of a line from Poplar Bluff, MO, to Perryville, MO.
