* WHAT...West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts 45 to 50 mph expected. Isolated gusts to 55 mph possible late Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday evening and again during the day Thursday.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey, and southeast New York.

* WHEN...From 3 PM Wednesday to 10 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will blow down scattered tree limbs. A few trees and power lines could be downed, with power outages possible. Unsecured objects and decorations will be blown around and/or damaged.
