A local US Cellular tower near Buckhannon is down. US Cellular subscribers may experience a few seconds delay when calling 911. US Cellular has assured us the calls will still be routed to a dispatcher, but the call may take a couple extra seconds to be answered. US Cellular is aware of the issue and working on a solution. They have not released an ETA for restoration at this time. This issue only affects US Cellular customers using the Buckhannon tower. If you are in another area, your calls should not be affected.
