Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Assault Suspect
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. requests the public’s help in identifying the suspect pictured below, who assaulted a victim on Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Boulevard on Friday, December 27, 2024.
At approximately 7:49 a.m., the female suspect was captured on surveillance video striking the victim on her shoulder with a closed fist in the 600 block of Kenneth A. Gibson Blvd.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are confidential and could result in a reward.
