Marion Man Charged with Meth Possession
Detective Adam Burnette with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office Community Impact Team charged 50-year-old Jesse Alan Chester of Marion with felony Possession of Methamphetamine. He was given a secured bond of $2,500.
On December 13, detectives initiated a traffic stop on a black Ford truck for an expired tag. It was discovered that Chester, who was the driver, had warrants out for his arrest.
A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded a suspected amount of meth.
