1. Armed Robbery Arrest (1510) 600 Block of North Wilson Way, Park District
The suspect entered a local business and attempted to steal merchandise. When employees confronted him, he tried to pull out a handgun from his waistband. Employees were able to take the gun away and detained the suspect until responding officers took custody of him. ARRESTED: Christopher Dunn, 35, for robbery, weapons charges, and outstanding warrants.
2. Resisting Arrest (1903) 200 Block of North El Dorado Street, Civic District
Officers attempted to detain the suspect in the listed area. The suspect resisted and force was required to take him into custody ARRESTED: Daniel Rodriguez, 34, for resisting arrest and failure to comply with court-mandated registration.
3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2200) 500 Block of East Flora Street, Civic District
The male victim, 39, and the known suspect were in an argument when the suspect hit the victim with a metal object. The victim went to an area hospital to treat his non-life-threatening injury. SUSPECT: Hispanic adult male.
