The contractor is nearing completion of the fitting installation to finalize the waterline repair at 121st and Memorial. Once the fitting is in place, the line will need to be flushed.
The contractor had to jackhammer through concrete and pump out large volumes of water to make the necessary repairs. Additionally, the original fitting failed and is being replaced. Water service is expected to be restored by mid-afternoon today. An additional update will be given around 4 o'clock or earlier if conditions change.
