The Dog Park at LeDroit has REOPENED with resurfacing and improvements completed
The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and the Department of General Services (DGS) are pleased to announce that the resurfacing of the Dog Park at LeDroit (286 V Street NW) is complete, and the dog park is NOW OPEN.
Highlights of the project include:
- Resurfaced the dog park with Engineered Wood Fiber ("wood chips").
- Improved drainage.
- Installed a shade structure in the large dog area.
- Replaced the water fountain and hose bib.
- Replaced and relocated benches throughout the park.
Thanks to all the residents who provided input for the project. We look forward to residents enjoying this park for years to come.
